Transfigured Communications is pleased to announce that Andy Kozlowski has been appointed to lead the organization's sales and marketing efforts.

Andy has over 20 years experience providing communication and marketing solutions to Catholic faith communities, and most recently was a Regional Sales Manager and responsible for 5 regional offices with a national Catholic publishing company.

He has also served as a parish business administrator in the Archdiocese of Minneapolis-St. Paul and was a Director of Religious Education, Youth Minister and Religious Education Coordinator. He has a thorough understanding of the Catholic faith, and the business side and workings of Catholic parishes.

"Parishes can and should do a better job of connecting with parishioners and building their faith communities online, because so may people are online today. It's so much more effective and efficient," he said. Finances are tight, especially in parishes. Our website and email solutions will help them be better stewards of their resources by allowing them to save on printing, postage and mailing costs."

"So may parish websites I've seen have information that is out of date. That might be because staff doesn't understand how to use their current web technology. Or maybe it is too difficult to use. Whatever the reason, those sites have become stale, and there really is no reason for parishioners to visit the website with any frequency. They seem to fall short of serving their faith communities the way they could or should.

"The internet offers parishes so many opportunities to improve evangelization, Catechesis, pastoral care, and communication. From online religious education strategies - which can be more attractive and engaging for youth - to sharing of committee and council agendas and minutes, and having online signup for volunteers, our easy-to-use website technology, along with our Catholic experience and knowledge of how to build and drive website traffic, can help parishes be more creative in how they communicate online," he added. Transfigured offers so many resources to help parishes have a more dynamic and professional online presence."

"Pope’s Benedict XVI Message for World Communications Day 2010 is "New Media at the Service of the Word". He is encouraging Catholics, especially priests, to use media technologies to reach new audiences with the message of God’s love. The 44th World Communications Day will be celebrated May 16, so parishes need to start thinking about how they can use the technology."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- January 4, 2010 -- St. Cloud Minnesota
Now, all types of Catholic organizations that want to improve their websites, and email communications with parishioners, constituents and colleagues will have an easier way to manage and maintain their websites.

Transfigured Communications is a new organization that provides Catholic parishes, churches, schools and diocese with a fully integrated and easy-to-use website Content Management System (CMS) and email communication solution.

"A Catholic organization's website should be approached as a pastoral, evangelization and community building project, not as a technology project. The goal should be connecting and building Catholic faith communities through improved evangelization, Catechesis, pastoral care, and communication. Technology is simply the tool to help achieve this," said Mark D. Kuhl, founder of Transfigured Communications.

Transfigured Communications offers Catholic faith communities more than just the easiest-to-use websites. Transfigured will strive to be a trusted strategic partner by providing Catholic churches and parishes, Catholic schools, Catholic diocese and other Catholic institutions with complete website development service, support and online resources to help them create and manage more effective, functional and user-friendly websites.

With more than 25 years experience as a marketing professional, and a lifetime of Catholic experiences, Mr. Kuhl felt it was time to offer Catholic organizations the same leading-edge website technology used by many businesses to advance their missions and ministries.
"We're a professional communications firm that wants to help Catholic organizations leverge technology to connect with their members. This is our ministry, and we're here to help them and grow their ministries. " he said.

"Providing Catholic organizations with a single, easy-to-use and proven website platform, will allow them to connect with and build their faith communities through better, current and more professional online communication. Our solutions will allow them to centralize and standardize website training, provide access to and be able to publish more relevant Catholic content, and create new collabration opportunities through our Transfigured Network where they can share ideas, access visual assets and build their skills through online training and tutorials. We'll eliminate much of the frustration that non-technical staff members and volunteers encounter when working with websites and online communication, and help them be more strategic and look more professional," he said.

Transfigured Communications' new website Content Management System (CMS) for Catholic faith communities is an intuitive, scalable and flexible website development tool that will grow to meet the changing online needs of Catholic communities and their audiences. "Its most impressive feature, and the one that parishes will appreciate most, is how extremely easy it is to use. Routine website changes and updates will take less than 5 minutes."

The CMS has integrated email communication functionality built in to allow for the easy creation of of email newsletters, announcements or other targeted mailings. This feature, along with a host of other industry-leading features makes their CMS the only website Catholic faith communities will ever need.
