Welcome to Transfigured - Parish Communications Specialist

Custom parish content and branding for next level communications.

For far too long, parishes had limited options when it came to liturgical and parish life images and content to share and promote parish community life. A parish either had to be using a specific bulletin program, create the content themselves or go without. Often, when using these content subscription services, they do not include the needed designs in the ready-to-use file formats frequently used by parishes.

Our focus is on faith based content design, branding, and digital and print communications, and we provide ready, easy-to-use content that works well with all the digital and print technologies most parishes use.

From parish branding systems and parish life content, to custom ministry, stewardship and capital campaigns, Transfigured offers the experience to take your parish communications and brand to the next level.

Hi, my name is Mark...

I recently retired after a 40-year career in design, marketing and brand communications, serving the last 10 years as communications director of an awesome and thriving parish community in Minnesota. Transfigured is a new and unique alternative for parishes seeking timely, relevant and beautiful parish life content, branding and communications inspiration and support. My hope is to help parishes advance their missions, build community and proclaim the Word boldly.

A bit more if you're interested...

I have volunteered, consulted and worked with rural and urban parishes, area communities (clustered), and diocesan ministries since graduating college in 1985.

During my career, I worked in corporate communications, owned an advertising and design firm, and worked as a brand communication consultant with technology companies, consumer services, private equity and non-profit organizations. I also volunteered and consulted with my home parish as well as other parish communities that had reached out for assistance. My faith and appreciation of sacred art, interest in graphic design and desire to see parish communities thrive, raise the bar and make a greater commitment to their communication ministries, have guided me here.

In 2015, I became communications director at a wonderful, thriving urban parish in Minnesota. The pastor's management style provided me the flexibility and latitude to take the parish's communications in a fresh, new direction, and I had the opportunity of directing and managing the parish through a comprehensive rebranding. I've d designed liturgical campaigns, stewardship, formation, volunteer recruitment, ministry and 7-figure capital campaigns, and I have worked with most of the technologies, platforms and companies in the communications space serving Catholic parishes.

Born, baptized and raised in a traditional Catholic home in the 60s and 70s, I've been married to my wife Kathy for over 40 years, and we have been blessed with 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
